More than 5 years ago, I took on the Shaklee CINCH challenge. At the time (2006), I was about 220 lbs overweight and had almost 3.5 inches of fat on me. When I took on the challenge, i committed to a regimen of Cinch shakes, tea, bars, multi-vitamin supplement, along with eating delicious, energy and life-giving food such as salads, free range fish and chicken.
That year, I went from 220 lbs to 180 lbs. I went from a size 40 to a size 35. Life was awesome!
Then, i started associating with people who insisted that i eat what they eat. They thought it was a fluke. So I started listening to them.
Now, what happens when you associate with people who do not support your vision? You got the picture.
So, Now at 203lbs (I went off the Cinch program for almost 3 years), I’ve decided to go back into it. I tried some other “weight-loss” and “fat-loss-cleanse” approaches and nearly got sick. So I’m going back on the CINCH program. That’s it. My goal weight is 180lbs once again and I intend to be at a size 36 again.
This time, not only am I challenging myself. I want to live a full life, healthy, wealthy and strong.
For the supporters, may we band together as one and create a better future. For those who don’t – i’m committed to my vision. I want to be around long enough to help others get what they want in life too. Why? Because I love helping people. But I love helping people who are COMMITTED to helping themselves.
For the haters; you choose the life you want to live – by how you think and what you think. I wish you the best.
So, off I go for 6 kilometres one way, 6 kilometres back. 12 kilometers altogether.
Let it be written, let it be done.
