Donald Trump once said that if you are going to think, then think BIG. Now, if you think about it, that is so true (not to play on the words or anything.) We all have the capability to think any way we want. What it boils down to, however, is our beliefs and values.
If you ever wanted to get rid of a disease in your body, but your beliefs and values say something otherwise, then you will be in conflict. Or if you wanted to build a business strong and growing, but deep down you are afraid to take “no” for an answer, again, you are experiencing conflict.
So how to you get around this?
The answer is investing in bettering yourself with education
If you want to make a huge change in your life, you have to start with you, period. You have to ask yourself questions, such as “What is holding me back?” You must get an honest and firm grip with your challenges.
Next, be a problem solver. Do the research, find out how people were able to remove what held them back.
I recommend getting coaching, attending seminars if you must, but do so with the intent that you want to bring out the best version of you, period.
Even Sporting legends Have To Invest In Themselves
Michael Jordan was not a great basketball player in high school, in fact, he was kicked off the team. But he knew what he wanted and he asked the coach if he would be willing to INVEST in some time in getting better at basketball. And so he worked hard at becoming the best basketball player he could.
Now, he is a legend and many have followed in his footsteps and have outdone him. But there is only one Michael Jordan, that is why he is the best.
The same goes for Wayne Gretzky. As he once said, “You only make 99% of the shots that you don’t take.” And that is true.
If you choose lifelong learning in bettering yourself PERSONALLY and PROFESSIONALLY, imagine what you can do for the world. Imagine what you can do for you and your loved ones.
Anything is possible, but you must make the decision to invest in yourself.
No matter what.
