Steve Jobs, Wangari Maathai
Many great leaders have crossed over in the past two weeks. Wangari Maathai, a 2004 Nobel Peace Prize laureate who lead the greenbelt movement and also inspired many women to empower their lives, passed away last week. Steve Jobs of Apple Inc. passed away today at the age of 56. Both left their mark in history as people who committed to creating better lives for the world.
Be Compassionate and Understanding
“Judging a person does not define who they are; It defines who you are.” Just that saying alone can make a person think. In fact, when we judge people, we are actually showing others what is happening inside of us, which is an internal tempest, a poisoned environment.
Judging people (and I’m referring to everyday life) is at most times incorrect, because it is more of jumping to conclusions on the behaviors of the person, instead of what is truly inside.
